In a significant move aimed at strengthening international cooperation, the minister for culture, tourism, and civil aviation, Khadak Raj Paudel ‘Ganes,’ held a series of courtesy meetings with the ambassadors of China, Japan, and Lithuania on Friday. During the meetings, Minister Paudel formally hosted Diana Mickeviciene, the non-resident ambassador of Lithuania to Nepal; Zhang Maoming, the ambassador of the People’s Republic of China; and Maeda Toru, the ambassador of Japan to Nepal. The visiting envoys took the opportunity to congratulate Minister Paudel on the formation of the new government, extending their best wishes for a successful and productive tenure.
A primary focus of the dialogue was the enhancement of Nepal’s tourism sector. Minister Paudel expressed deep appreciation for the consistent support and contributions provided by China, Japan, and other friendly nations toward Nepal’s overall development.
