The conversations centered on finding prospective areas of partnership, such as agriculture, manufacturing, and tourism. According to trade records, Bhutan imported Nu 248.75 million in commodities from Indonesia
Bhutan shipped a minor amount of cordyceps sinensis to Indonesia that same year. Nugroho Priyo Pratomo, director of the Indonesian Trade Promotion Centre in Chennai, India, stated that the Trade Expo, which takes place in October each year, attracts between 1,500–2,000 exhibitors. The Expo focuses on four major clusters: food and drinks, agriculture, industry, services and tourism, and information and technology. According to Nugroho Priyo Pratomo, Bhutanese enterprises will be asked and facilitated to participate in the Expo in order to improve bilateral trade between the two nations and exhibit items from Bhutan, particularly organic products, to a larger market.
